Small-group health insurance in South Florida

A group conversation covers enrollment and renewal for a team. It is not a rate sheet. Owners in Sunrise and Broward County still need a census before anyone names a price.

What this page will not invent

  • A minimum number of employees. Carrier rules differ, and the firm has not published one.
  • A monthly premium range. Ages, ZIP codes, and plan design move the number.
  • A tax credit percentage. That is a tax question for a professional and for the year’s instructions.
  • A list of carriers. The firm has not published the companies it is appointed with.

What an advisor actually needs

  • Who is a W-2 employee, who is an owner, and who is a 1099 contractor.
  • Where people live. A South Florida office and a remote hire in another state are not the same filing.
  • What the business can contribute, in dollars the owner is willing to say out loud.
  • Whether the goal is a group medical plan, or a different arrangement the advisor says is actually available.

HealthCare.gov describes some employer allowances, including an individual coverage HRA, as their own Special Enrollment topic. Couvertier has not published those arrangements as a product. Ask before you assume they are on the menu. Contractors who need their own policy belong on the self-employed health insurance in Florida page. A person or a household starts with individual health insurance in South Florida.

After someone is covered

The firm says one advisor stays from the first question through enrollment, and that renewal support is part of the group conversation. New hires and people leaving are ordinary group administration. They are also a reason not to buy the first illustration and disappear.
